Job Description:

The Ministry of Agriculture, Quarantine, Forestry and Fisheries wishes to recruit externally for the Department of Agriculture an experienced and qualified person to the position of Producer’s Organisation Project Officer.

The Corporate Services of the Ministry of Agriculture will provide any person with information package containing details of the above vacancy including duties and responsibilities, reporting arrangements and a Job Application Form (PSC Form 3-2).

Interested applicant must possess the following:

Criteria:

- Have tertiary qualification in tropical agriculture; At least 3 years experience with rural community work; Good analytical skills; Good written and oral communication skills

- Good presentation skills; Computer literate; Good understanding of or the ability acquire a detailed understanding of agriculture & rural development, particularly the support of producers/farmers

organisation

- English or french and bislama; Must be a good character.

Salary:

VT 1,058,400 + allowances
