| | The Ministry of Agriculture, Quarantine, Forestry and Fisheries wishes to recruit externally for the Department of Agriculture an experienced and qualified person to the position of Principal Agriculture Officer. |

| | - Have tertiary qualification in agriculture, science, economics or related areas; At least 3-5 years experience in a similar management position particularly in the areas of agriculture & rural |
| | development and/or public administration, and demonstrated team leadership skills |
| | - Sound knowledge of technical agriculture issues, research, commodities, policy and economics; Demonstrated coaching, monitoring and evaluating skills; Computer literate |
| | - Able to identify technical agriculture problems, particularly research and field applications and work with others to analyze problems and develop solutions; English or french and bislama; Good |
