| | VANGO wishes to recruit a suitable qualified person to the position of Finance and Administration Officer. |
| | Please note that this position is only open to nationals or permanent residents who have the authority to live and work in Vanuatu. Salary package will be discussed only with short listed applicants. |

| | Duties and Responsibilities: |
| | 1) To provide monthly expenditure report to the Secretary/Board |
| | 2) To prepare quarterly finance report for the board meeting |
| | 3) To establish internal procedures for procurement and purchase of office equipment |
| | 4) To maintain a property inventory of VANGO |
| | 5) To work with the Board Finance Committee and the Secretary General to prepare annual budget |
| | 6) To ensure that all finance systems are kept up-to-date |
| | 7) To prepare finance report for the annual audit |
| | 8) Some office general administration function including minute taking for meetings |
| | 9) Provide day-to-day financial advice and support to VANGO project partners, and identifying and obtaining financial opportunities that arise. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Have at least more than three years in handling finance and finance management; Have skills in the use of MYOB accounting system; Possess skills in the use of spreadsheets and other accounting |
| | - Demonstrated the ability to work as part of a team; A commitment to issues of gender and culture sensitive; Commitment to the principles of the civil society sector and VANGO objectives |
| | - Possess certificate/diploma in finance management or accounting skills through short courses and in-service trainings. |
