| | We seek a dynamic Country Director to manage our program in Vanuatu. This is a Senior Manager position in our pacific region team, and will be expected to travel domestically and internationally. The contract is fulltime, fixed term for 2 years. |
| | Duties and Responsibilities: |
| | 1) The Country Director provides strategic leadership of the country program |
| | 2) Ensuring high quality |
| | 3) Impact in working with communities and partners |
| | 4) Represent the organisation at the country level |
| | 5) Manage complex change and ensure that gender equality is promoted |
| | 6) Integrated at the organisational and program levels. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Have strong analytical and the ability to think strategically, including to think beyond the country program context and act within a regional and global framework; Be a highly effective team leader |
| | capable of motivating, supporting and empowering a dynamic country team; Have experience of working at a senior level with Oxfam or a similar agency |
| | - Have experience of managing complex change processes and relationships involving a range of internal and external multi-cultural stakeholders; Have experience of leading humanitarian, long term |
| | development and advocacy program. |
