| | The University of the South Pacific is seeking to appoint a Coordinator, Campus Life to coordinate the affairs of students at the Emalus Campus. This position is avilable for a term of three years avilable and may be renewed by mutual agreement. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | Responsible to the Campus Director. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - A bachelor’s degree and preferably a postgraduate qualification in a relevant area; At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a tertiary education institution particularly with distance education |
| | and or adult learning programmes; Ability to work with students in a multi-ethic and multi-cultural environment in a residential situation |
| | - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with particular attention to students needs; Initiative and commitment to continuous improvement of service; Excellent organisational skills and |
| | ability to produce analytical reports; Be able to work outside normal working hours |
| | - Establish administrative procedures and policies for the halls of residence and catering services to be provided to the students; Liaise with the university medical center, hospital authorities and |
| | other community organisations to facilitate security and a safe environment for students |
| | - A high level of IT skills particularly in MS word and excel and good command of written and spoken english, knowledge of french and bislama would be advantage. |
| | Salary: |
| | VUV 1,832,593 to VUV 2,096,593 per annum (Inclusive of 15% gratuity) |
