| | The Telecommunication & Radiocommunication Regulator (TRR) is an independent entity that regulated the Telecommunication sector. Part of the role of TRR is to ensure fair & proper competition exists in the industry, to regulate the performance of the operators, to support the correct legal framework for the industry and to encourage the access to |
| | communication systems for the people of Vanuatu. TRR is seeking a Ni-Vanuatu citizen to fulfill this role as the Internet Market and Governance (IMG) Manager. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Responsible for advise on policies and develop, regulations, guidelines, processes & procedures for all matters concerning internet provision and use within Vanuatu |
| | 2) Oversee the operation of the management of ccTLD |
| | 3) The national interface to international bodies concerning all matters concerning the internet |
| | 4) Act as manager for selected projects on ICT, IT and internet governance, trained mentored and managed other projects on the areas in support to the government, consumers, licensees and other stakeholders involved. |

| | Criteria: |
| | - A degree and preferably a post degree in ICT or information management related subjects; At least 5 years experience in management preferably in the telecommunications sector and of ICT systems |
