| Opportunity for a Relationship Manager for ANZ Bank, Vanuatu. Duties and responsibilities: |
| 1) Maintain and develop client relationships (small/medium business) in a multicultural society to sustain profitability by providing superior customer service, maintaining a detailed understanding of client business and financial services needs, developing and actively seeking referrals and developing new client prospects |
| 2) Efficiently and effectively manage small/medium business credit risk by actively identifying and assessing all risk inherent in credit exposures, ensuring data integrity of accounts and ensuring compliance with group credit and regulatory reporting requirements |
| 3) Ensure early identification of problem accounts, maximization of recovery of bas/doubtful debts by being directly involved/supervising/guiding subordinates in asset management techniques |
| 4) Plan manage and execute a strategy to achieve profit and quality of service superior to competitors in conjunction with head of commercial & institutional banking |
| 5) Manage the ongoing performance of staff through the provision of coaching, feedback and guidance |
| 6) Ensure the sharing of “best practice” by embracing and supporting change and gaining the commitment of staff through involvement. |
| Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| Criteria: |
| - Tertiary qualification, degree in banking/finance/commerce or marketing is desirable; Proven lending ability in credit/relationship roles in commercial/retail lending; Thorough knowledge of ANZ |
| group credit & risk management policies and procedures; Sound knowledge of bank procedures, products and services |
| - Strong marketing skills and the ability to deliver products competitively and effectively; Effective marketing and business development skills; French language skills (is a bonus); Experience in |
| management of problem accounts is highly desirable; Other essential. |
