| | The Utilities Regulatory Authority (URA) is an independent statutory authority established as the economic regulations for pricing, access, standards and monitoring of concession agreements for electricity and water service throughout Vanuatu.The Authority invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Manager Regulations |

| | Duties and responsibilities; |
| | Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this person will plan, organize, guide, and supervise the work of analytical staff. The work includes all technical, economic and financial analysis relevant to regulations of water and electricity Services of Vanuatu. |

| | Criteria: |
| | - Degree in Economics, engineering and / or law; |
| | - Excellent management skills, including the ability to develop and lead an effective work team; Good understanding of the principals and practice of utility regulation; |
| | - Understanding of technical, economic, financial and accounting issues relevant to the provision of utility services; |
| | - Superior writing skills; Ability to prepare and present information clearly and concisely, orally and in writing; Understanding of French and common- law legal system; |
| | - Understanding and experience with concession contracts; Previous experience in a senior position in the Public or private sector. |
