| | Responsibilities: |
| | 1) Undertake cross-sectoral planning and budgeting for Education and Youth sector |
| | 2) Undertake and commission in depth sectoral reviews, policy analysis, studies, on education and youth sector |
| | 3) Provide policy advice on Education and Youth Sector to Government |
| | 4) Coordinate Budget formulation of Education and Youth |
| | 5) Coordinate the implementation of Government Policies and Program in the areas of Education and Youth |
| | 6) Champion and facilitate dialogues with development partners on key reform initiatives in education and youth sector |
| | 7) Provide regular brief and update to Government on the progress of major development initiatives and issues. |
| | Criteria: |
| | - A Bachelors or Master Degree Holder in Education, Planning Economics, Development Administration or any other related fields; Three years or more experience in communication, advisory role, |
| | writing reports, and managing resources; Must have policy development skills, research skills, computer skills, administration skills, policy evaluation skills, analytical skills and drafting skills |
| | - Analytical thinking, creative thinking and strategic thinking, practical and open minded; Listening negotiation, counseling and problem solving; Positive, respectful, committed creative and a team |
| | player; Must be fluent in english, french and bislama |
| | - Must be able to communicate well with other line Ministries. |
