| Job Description: |
| CARE International in Vanuatu is looking for a Finance Manager to support ongoing and future DRR/ CCA community based projects.This position is mainly based in Port Vila. |
| Duties of this position include: |
| 1) Ensure Finance forms are in line with CARE Australia and/or donors requirements Finance and Procurement Manual |
| 2) Ensure that prior any expenditures, expenditures approval form have been signed by authorized staff |
| 3) Ensure that each financial transaction are correct, required supporting documentation complete, proper signatures and authorization of payments |
| 4) Ensure that accounting tasks is done on daily, weekly and monthly basis |
| 5) Monthly accounting on Fin Suns are finalizing according to CARE Australia Finance department deadlines |
| 6) Present for approval from the CARE program manager, all computerized journals, original bills, Cash and Bank reconciliation before the 05 of each month |
| 7) Ensure National staff payroll is up to date according to employee contract, new staff added, tax and other deductions are correct in all respects o the Vanuatu law |
| 8) Ensure that taxes and insurance payments are according required deadlines |
| 9) Develop financial filing system based on CARE Australia or/and donors project requirement |
| 10) Ensure updated Banking System and timely fund request bank transfer from Care Australia. |

| Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| Criteria: |
| - Diploma in accounting/finance or relevant working experiences as Finance Manager; Minimum five years of work experience in finance, preferably for an international non governmental |
| humanitarian organization (INGOs); Experience of multi- donors finance project requirements in humanitarian sector; Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel and Word) and use of Microsoft |
| - Fluent in written and spoken english; Ability to prioritize, problem-solve and meet agreed deadlines; Open-minded, willing to learn, respectful towards all the CARE staff; Respect of the principles, core |
| values and internal procedures of CARE. |
