| | The National Bank of Vanuatu is seeking to recruit an ICT officer who has the necessary technical skills and knowledge to participate in its ICT team and contribute outstanding service to the Bank. The position will be based at the Head office in Port Vila. The Bank’s ICT department managers a technical infrastructure that is advanced and |
| | comprehensive. Its WAN extends from sola in the north the Analguat in the South, hosting almost 200 personal computers and servers. The following sub-systems are supported: - Core Banking, Electronic Banking, IP-PBX telephone, email, general file and office application services. Technical areas include network management, database management |
| | and information analysis. ICT staff work as a team, with each member expected to specialize in at least one application and technical area whilst also developing their knowledge and skills in other areas. |

| | - The successful applicant will have demonstrated clearly that he or she is an enthusiastic, self starter, able to take initiative, and able to assume responsibility for critical tasks; A minimum 5 –years |
| | experience in at least two of the following areas is essential:- Banking MIS; MS SQL server (or other relational database system); MS SQL server reporting services, crystal reports (or similar); IS085083 |
| | electronic banking, EFT switch, ATM’s POS, etc; Windows OS; MS exchange; IP networking; Hardware:-PC’s, servers, switches, routers, etc. |
