| | We are seeking for a suitable person for the position above. This position is available for a fixed term period of one year. The Appointee will be based in Emalus campus and will be responsible and |
| | accountable for the following, operation and maintenance of the campus VSAT network and system infrastructures: |
| | 1) Provide level 2 troubleshooting of Emalus Campus VSA, network and systems infrastructure |
| | 2) Provide assistance on, onsite ICT project implementation |
| | 3) Provide ICT technical support for other USP Vanuatu centers |
| | 4) Assist in ICT training |
| | 5) Provide support/assistance for USP community initiatives. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Must have a diploma in computing/information systems or engineering and or 3 years experience in relevant areas; Experience with ICT technologies/equipment including VSAT technology, electrical power |
| | systems, IP networking – router/switches and cabling, audio-visual conferencing systems, MS/Linux server systems for user domain management as well as PC & laptops with standard OS and application |
| | software particularly internet and web-based |
| | - Excellent knowledge and experience with standards desktop applications such as the Microsoft office suite of applications; Expert level technical problem solving skills required; Expert proficiency required in |
| | the use of technical configuration tools and systems to maintain O&M status of ICT infrastructure; Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. |
