| | The Government of Vanuatu through the ministry of justice and community services is currently in the process of establishing the law commission as a mechanism in the development of the law and the legal systems in Vanuatu. The law commission status and role are stipulated under the law commission act (CAP 115) that commenced on July 1980. |
