| The Vanuatu Tourism Office requires the services of one Finance Administration Manager. This position is open to all Ni-Vanuatu nationals and is based in Port Vila. | as soon as possible. Duties and responsibilities: |
| 1) Responsible to the general manager for planning, organizing and executing the finance and administration components of the VTO work programme |
| 2) Overseeing all finance and accounting functions including budgeting, asset management, cash flow management, payroll, management reporting, financial, variance and accounts analysis in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals, financial policies and procedures of VTO |
| 3) Assist in the development of current and long-term organizational goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures for VTO operations. |
| Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| Criteria: |
| - Minimum of at least 8 years accounting experience; At least 5 years experience in administration at a senior manager’s level; Possess strong analytical skills and relevant academic qualifications at a |
| recognised university to undertake required key responsibilities within the VTO finance and administration department; Must have a university degree in any of the following fields, commerce, finance or |
| business administration or equivalent |
| - An ability to write clear and concise reports; Good spoken and written English; Excellent computer skills and experience in word, powerpoint, excel, publisher and outlook; Experience in MYOB or other |
| accounting software |
| - Prior experience of programmed budget development and budgetary control; Demonstrated written and oral communication skills; Preparation of financial statements able experience in auditing company or |
| an institution accounts. |
