| | Applications are invited for full-time positions within outreach program of the Vanuatu cricket association (VCA). This program is funded by the European Union (EU). The VCA is a highly respected sporting association in Vanuatu as it has produced programs that have proven to be beneficial to the community; giving opportunities to youth and education on social issues. |
| | The VCA has seen tremendous growth over the past 9 years and is continuing to improve. For further information please contact the VCA office at independence park or Pierre Chilia on the contact number mentioned below. The VCA is looking for two self-motivated individuals who can fulfill the keys and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Complete administration tasks including actions such as booking conference rooms, organizing catering, contacting invitees and organizing accommodation |
| | 2) Regularly contact schools and teachers to assist them in running the outreach program |
| | 3) Assist with producing additional coaching resources for teachers |
| | 4) Submit regular updates to the VCA office |
| | 5) Provide the EU with ongoing visibility as per the contact between the VCA and EU |
| | 6) Other duties as required by the VCA general manager and board. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirement: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Committed to working with and helping children; Willing to work towards becoming a level 0 and then level 1 cricket coach; Conscientious, honest and hard working |
| | - Self-motivated; Knowledge and understanding of basic computer skills; Prepared to be a role model for young children; Understanding of the game of cricket (non-essential). |
