| | The university of the south pacific wishes to invite interested local counselling agents or persons to provide councelling services on emalus campus. This is a contractual undertaking and the appointee is expected to provide counselling services as per the conditions of the contract. This position is available for the period of the first semester in 2011, but may be |
| | extended by mutual agreement. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) The appointee will be required to provide counseling consultation to students and full-time staff of emalus campus, on a full-time basis |
| | 2) Be expected to deal with matters relating to problems of transition to the university, depression, psychological problems, anxiety, bereavement, relationship difficulties, sexual abuse, alcohol and substance abuse, family conflicts, and other social problems. |

| | - Applicants must have a good relevant qualifications in education, preferably in counselling and quidance, and not less than 2 years counselling experience; Applicant should include with their applications |
| | certified copies or originals of personal qualifications/certificates, current business license, evidence of relevant experience in counselling practice. |
