| | The national bank of vanuatu is seeking to recruit a highly qualified and experienced banker to fill the position of head of finance and risk management. The position is located at the banks head office in port vila, vanuatu. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Involve in financial and strategic planning |
| | 2) Risk management responsibilities include managing the internal compliance unit and coordinating both the external and internal audit functions |
| | 3) Responsible for the credit approval processes, monitoring loan portfolio quality. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Must have very strong working knowledge of bank risk management protocols including liquidity risk, operation risk and credit risk; He/she must have demonstrated experience in credit analysis and credit |
| | management |
| | - A demonstrable track record of past success in a commercial banking senior management role is essential as this is a key strategic position within the bank's corporate structure |
| | - Tertiary qualifications in banking and finance, business, accounting or a related field; At least 20 years experience in the commercial banking field; 10 years experience in credit/financial management; A |
| | minimum of 5 years experience at a senior management level |
| | - Very proficient with microsoft office product (ie. Excel, word, outlook etc). |
