| | Applications are invited for the position of inventory controller, within our inventory management department at air vanuatu (operations) limited. We are currently seeking a young profession with a high degree of initiative and commitment to join our Inventory management department. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Responsible in managing the revenue generated for an assignment market, by maintaining market competitive pricing and trough effective revenue management decisions |
| | 2) You will provide support to our local and overseas sales offices, airport customer service, reservations department and various other departments |
| | 3) In addition you would be required to generate various reports based on data denrived from the revenue management system, and the performance of both future and past flights. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - A tertiary qualification in either- mathematics, economic, statistics or management/marketing; A good academic record, excellent communication skills, influence and negotiation skills, strong logical |
| | approach towards problem analysis and decision making; Excellent analytic skills, ability to perform statistical analysis of various flight situations for revenue enhancement; Advanced PC literacy skills |
| | - Must be able to provide police clearance and medical report declaring fit for all duties; Drive and ambition to achieve goals and targets; Attention to details and adhering to in house policies and procedures; |
| | Ability to work on weekends, public holidays and overtime; Energetic team player who can show initiative and lead by example. |
