| | The vanuatu agriculture development bank, now in its second year of commercial operations is looking for a deputy general manager. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) This is a senior role and the deputy general manager’s primary function is to develop and implement operational risk management issues for the bank The role will have direct responsibilities for the finance and administration functions in the bank |
| | 2) The bank has an ERM approach to its risk issues and the deputy general manager will be expected to review and develop operational aspects of this approach further. |

| | - Must be computer literate with solid background on word processing, spread sheet (excel), accounting systems or related software to |
| | facilitate financial reporting and quantitative analysis; Knowledge of flowcharting is essential for process and procedure development; Analytical and have a solid footing in mathematics; Capacity to complete |
| | financial statements and prepare the bank for external audit, essential |
| | - Good command of english and french which are business languages of vanuatu; The candidate must be a degree holder from acceptable university |
| | He or she must be a licensed certified public accountant; A post graduate degree in banking or computational Science and/or similar degree certificate will be an advantage; Minimum of 3 years in a financial |
| | institution at managerial level, or similar institution |
| | - Have at least 5 years work experience in accounting; Familiarity with IFRS, and other accounting standards, basel 2 and local banking regulations, essential; Must have experience in completing monthly and |
| | annual financial statements; Must have personnel administration experience. |
