| | Peace corps vanuatu wishes to recruit a highly qualified professional as a senior level programming manager. The program manager for community health will be responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of the peace corps community health project. The program manager will supervise and support up to forty peace corps volunteers with |
| | assignments on over twenty different islands in vanuatu. All applicants must be citizens of vanuatu. Duties and responsibilities; |
| | 1) Development and facilitation of technical training |
| | 2) Project plan design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Excellent oral and written communication skills in english and bislama with fluency in french viewed very positively; Highly effective interpersonal communication, including listening and feedback skills, |
| | suitable for facilitating productive dialogue with senior officials of development partners and team-building among staff and volunteers |
| | - Proven experience in problem solving, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines for time critical issues; Ability and flexibility to travel regularly to support volunteers and develop assignments for |
| | volunteers at communities and institutions typically located in rural vanuatu; Strong writing skills particularly suited for the preparation and writing of monitoring and evaluation reports and project planning |
| | documents; Highly developed analytical skills and the capacity to apply these skills to peace corps projects |
