| | The Vanuatu police force capacity building project (VPFCBP) is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the role of finance officer. The successful applicant will be employed by AusAID for a fixed term contract to work with the VPFCBP. The contract will initially be until mid February 2011 with a view for possible extension up to 2 years. |

| | 1) Will report to the project office, manager and work in a small team environment at the project administration office, Vansec house |
| | 2) Managing finance administration processes and payments to local contractors |
| | 3) Expenditure reporting to meet Australian government requirements |
| | 4) Appropriate record keeping |
| | 5) Working with Microsoft office program. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Demonstrated experience in the management of an accounting or financial program and activities, with an emphasis on accounts payable reporting; Strong office administration background; Experience with |
| | contemporary office automation software, such as excel and word; Strong interpersonal skills; Proven ability to work within a small team environment |
| | - Self motivated; Able to set priorities; Completed tasks effectively and demonstrate a record of achievement; Fluent in bislama and english; Holding a valid drivers license. |

| | A starting of vt 1,885,956 will be offered to the successful applicant and may be negotiated depending on the applicants experience and qualification. |
