| | The University is looking for an enthusiastic person to fill in the position of Properties and Facilities Cor-ordinator at the Emalus Campus in Vanuatu. The appointee will be responsible to the Campus Director for all minor works, general building and grounds maintenance activities and the inventory and upgrades of all University facilities and assets on Emalus Campus |
| | in Port Vila and the other sub-centres in Santo, Ambae and Tanna. This position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Responsible for the supervision of all project tenders and construction projects, Campus security, the management of emergency facilities and response and the implementation of campus OHS requirements |
| | 2) Supervise the maintenance and upgrade of all campus grounds, landscaping. All campus vehicles maintenance and pool logs. |
| | Interested applicants must the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - An ordinary diploma in construction studies(ODSC); Diploma in building construction studies(DBCS); Minimum of 5 - 10 years experience in the building industry; Knowledge of all trades especially electrical, |
| | plumbing and building maintanance |
| | - Direct supervisory experience; Good computer skills; Basic knowledge in use of autoCAD, archiCAD or other design software; Possession of a valid drivers license; The capacity to work collaboratively in a |
| | multicultural team environment. |
