| The Monitoring and Evaluation Unit under the Ministry of Prime Minister has a vacancy for the position of a Policy Impact Evaluation Officer. This is an important position and will require an experienced and dedicated person who will support the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit to evaluate and analyze the impacts of government policies during implementation and |
| advise the government on the impacts of policies with regards to costs and benefits to the country. For more queries regarding the jobs description, please liaise with the ministry of the Prime Minister. The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include: |
| 1) Responsible for evaluating policy implementation, auditing the effectiveness of policy development and the impacts of policies |
| 2) Evaluate and document the effectiveness of government policies |
| 3) Establish systems for evaluating policies and assist line Ministries to adopt the system |
| 4) Responsible for evaluating the for evaluating the effectiveness of council of Ministers decisions (COM) and legislations |
| 5) Evaluate all input resources that facilitated government priority policies |
| 6) Identify measures in which to help strengthen the outcomes of government programs and recommend alternatives policy directions |
| 7) Liaise with all sectored ministries regarding the effectiveness of all policies |
| 8) Evaluate the impacts of all funded and non funded programs, project and activities that are endorsed by the government. |
