| | VANGO is wishing to recruit a suitably qualified person to the position mention above. The role of the information and Capacity Building Officer is to: |
| | 1) Support the capacity building needs of member NGOs |
| | 2) Promote networking of NGOs national, regionally and internationally |
| | 3) Produce the VANGO newsletter and coordinate NGO information dissemination |
| | 4) Establish and maintain the VANGO resource centre. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Experience with training, mentoring and capacity building with adults; Experience with and familiarity with IT packages for production of IEC materials; Experience with writing or publications eg:media |
| | releases, research reports |
| | - Familiar with needs analysis tools for individuals or organizations; Demonstrated experience with networking and relationship building; Commitment to social justice, gender equity and civil society sector. |
