| | The Management board of Vanuatu Institute of Teacher's Education wishes to recruit a new Principal to manage the daily affairs of the institution. The board is looking for a highly motivated and innovative educational leader who will perform the following tasks: |
| | |
| | 1. Overall responsibility for the design, implementation and monitoring of all academic programs |
| | 2. Manage the daily operations of the Institute |
| | 3. Manage all expenditure, planning and monitoring for the institute finances |
| | 4. Formulate, implement and monitor strategic plans, policies and procedures |
| | 5. Manage staff performance and development |
| | 6. Monitor student teachers performance and academic social and personal progress |
| | 7. Manage change including current developments under harmonization activities |
| | 8. Overall responsibility for the maintaining, development and the use of the institute infrastructure and resources |
| | 9. Manage and develop efficient relationship with government, Ministry of Education, communities and stakeholders. |
| | Interested applicants must have the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Familiar with Education issues in Vanuatu; Commitment to play a crucial role in the effective preparation of future teachers; Excellent organizational skills; Excellent professional leadership; Role model |
| | - Demonstrated effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; Task orientated |
| | - At least 5 years experience in teachers education or related education areas |
| | - Master Degree in Education Administration or equivalent. |
