| | Voluntary Services Overseas (VSOV) is recruiting for the position of Finance Officer (FO). Reporting to the |
| | country Director, the post holder will: |
| | |
| | • Process payments and input into the financial tracking system |
| | • Maintain computerized financial systems within the office, including Year end processes |
| | • Run the office payroll |
| | • Liaise with the organisations head office and our bank on financial matters |
| | • Support the office and projects in budget monitoring, including variance reports |
| | • Maintain the fixed asset register in the office |
| | • Maintain office petty cash |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Degree / Diploma and or formal qualification in accounting and finance; Three years experience in Finance and Accounting; Computer literacy-word processing and spreadsheets |
| | - Experience in SUN systems of accounting will be a definite advantage; Strong administrative and organization skills; Fluency in English and with good communication skills requires; Motivated self-starter with |
| | proven ability to take the initiative and work independently |
| | - Excellent interpersonal skills and team-worker; Credibility and confidence in dealing with people at all levels; Flexible, diplomatic and able to work in multicultural setting |
| | - Ability to negotiate; Ability to meet strict deadlines; Conscientious and attentive to detail. |
