| | This position was created to assist the line agency accountant in DoFT to coordinate DoFT activities to support the introduction of increased school grants in 2010, and perhaps 2011-The main objective of this input is to assist the Ministry of Education and DoFT to ensure the new financial management arrangements for schools are being implemented, including |
| | delivery of appropriate training and support for provincial education officers and schools. To achieve these expectations, the advisor will play a coordinating and supporting role in terms of provincial education, school and community based programs of training and awareness relating to the introduction of increased grants. He/She is also expected to liaise with |
| | provincial education officials, schools and communities to develop visitation program, including travel arrangements. |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Experience in coordinating complex programs of community liaison and development |
| | - Ability to understand and stay on message about the financial management requirements schools |
| | - Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, either financial or educational |
