| | Vanuatu Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) and the Landholders Conservation Initiative Project (LCIP) are looking to engage a consultant to undertake the final evaluation of its activities. |

| | Duties: |
| | The consultant, in close consultation with the LCI project and the DEC, will: conduct interviews with project partners and other stakeholders, Undertake desk review of relevant documents, Prepare questionnaires for relevant actors, Conduct field visits to project sites, and Use participatory techniques for gathering and analysis of evaluation data. |

| | Scope of Bid Price and Schedule of Payments: |
| | The consultant must provide costs for services rendered, including consultancy fees, travel costs, stationary and other logistics costs. The price indicated will be fixed amount regardless of extension of the herein specific duration. |

| | Duty Station: |
| | Mostly in Port Vila including possible travel to project sites. Office resources will be provided. |
| | |

| | Criteria: |
| | - University degree in natural resource management, environmental economics, marine science, or other relevant field, with specific experience in field based biodiversity conservation |
| | - Extensive experience in conducting evaluations; Strong working knowledge of government, civil society sector and local communities |
| | - Familiarity with UNDP-GEF programme development requirements and implementation procedures |
| | - Strong reporting and writing, analytical and presentation skills; Very good communication skills; |
| | - Experience in participatory community development; Applications from women are highly encouraged. |
