| | The Melanesian Spearhead Group Secretariat is seeking to recruit a suitable person for the position of International Trade Adviser This is an important position within the Trade and Investment Division of the Secretariat and will require an experienced and dedicated person who will support the Director Trade and Investment Division in the provision of trade policy |
| | advice to MSG member countries. The Adviser will be responsible for the development of trade policy advice on regional and multilateral trade issues including trade negotiations affecting MSG member countries and providing support for trade capacity building in member countries. | | Criteria: |
| | - Citizen of MSG member countries including the FLNKS of New Caledonia |
| | - Have excellent management and communication skills |
| | - Posses Post Graduate Qualifications in the fields of Development and/or International Economics, International Trade, Commerce or Business Administration |
| | - Conversant with policy issues governing the fields of regional/international trade, trade negotiations, trade facilitation and links to investment and private sector development. |
| | - Have 7 years or more work experience in senior position or trade policy. |

| | An annual salary package of up to USD 60, 000 will be offered with other benefits. |
