| | The Melanesian Spearhead Group Secretariat is seeking to recruit a suitable person for the position of Private Sector Development Adviser. This is an important position within the Trade and Investment Division of the Secretariat and will require an experienced and dedicated person who will support the Director Trade and Investment Division on private sector |
| | development and investment issues. |
| | The Adviser will be responsible for the development and provision of policy advice on private sector development and investment issues in MSG member countries and supporting capacity building in these areas in member countries. The Adviser will also co-ordinate the private sector development and investment work as well as develop and manage donor funded |
| | activities relating to these two areas. The Adviser will report directly to the Director. Trade and Investment Division. Interested persons must meet the following requirements below: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Citizen of MSG member countries including the FLNKS of New Caledonia |
| | - Have excellent management skills and good communication skills |
| | - Posses Post Graduate Qualifications in the fields of Economics, Commerce, Accounting or Business Administration |
| | - Conversant with policy issues governing the fields of private sector development and investment |
| | - Have 7 years or more work experience in a senior position on private sector development and or investment. |
| | Salary: |
| | An annual salary package of USD 60,000 with benefits will be offered. |
