| | Vanuatu Rural Development & Training Center Association (VRDTCA) is an association of Rural Training Centres throughout Vanuatu delivering appropriate skills to rural people and communities. VRDTCA is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Education (WASH) Training Officer to contribute to its training programme. |
| | The role involves developing VRDTCA’s WASH programme with a focus on Local Water Committee training and Health and Hygiene Education in communities around RTCs. Training tools and modules will be developed and delivered by the WASH Training Officer to RTC managers, Committees, village health trainers, volunteers and communities. |
| | The WASH training Officer will have a sound background in community health and hygiene issues and the ability to deliver training that leads to improvements in community health practice. |
| | The position is based in Port Vila but will require some travel and overnight stays in communities. |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (health) and/or qualifications in Development Studies; Possibly a Graduate from Nursing college or with a Diploma in teaching Skills in developing and delivering |
