| The Port seeks an experienced Executive Chef with the ability to co-ordinate a busy kitchen as well as assist the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the business including preparing budgets, rosters, stocking levels and overall kitchen operations. | Criteria: |
| - Must be qualified and working for at least five years |
| - Must be fluent in both English and Bislama |
| - Must have previous experience with 5 star hotel groups in a similar role, experience with a range of international food groups will be highly regarded |
| - Demonstrate a solid business accumen in regards to labour and food cost controls as well as understanding of the importance of quality control and first rate hygiene practices |
| - Strong, hands on leadership qualities, a passion for cooking and for the training the team of staff working with the Executive Chef |
