The Energy Unit in collaboration with the IUCN Oceania Regional office in Suva is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position of the national coordinator to coordinate and implement the process for the following project in Vanuatu. 1. Development of the Talise Hydropower Project. 2. Rehabilitation of Solar PV |
| | Projects on Malekula and Santo. 3. Procurement of Wind Monitoring Towers for country wide wind assessment programme. The project will be for a duration of 2 years starting October 2009. Term of reference is available at the reception of the Energy Unit. Those who applied during the first round of advertisement need not apply again. |
| | Criteria: |
| | - A university degree or equivalent in management, economics, engineering and environment and at least 3 years of project management / coordination experience |
| | - Ability to coordinate the work of consultants / sub-contractors and proven ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team |
| | - Ability to meet project deadlines and practical experience with renewable ebergy projects / programmes |
| | - Excellent interpersonal skills |
| | - Excellent working knowledge of English |
