Job Desctiption:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Supervisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and support of our hotel's IT systems, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user support requests via phone, email, in-person, or helpdesk ticketing system (e.g., provide Level 1/2 support)
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, and mobile device issues efficiently
- Install, configure, and set up new computers, laptops, software, peripherals, and user accounts
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, backups, and antivirus/security checks on systems
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity, email (e.g., Microsoft 365/Outlook), and internet problems
- Assist with remote support and on-site visits as needed
- Document all support tickets, resolutions, and user interactions for reporting and knowledge base
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment, track repairs, and recommend replacements/upgrades
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on software, best practices, and security awareness
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors promptly
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection standards, and health & safety guidelines

 

Selection Criteria:

Requirements & Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum 3-4 years of progressive experience in IT support, system administration, network management, or related roles, including at least 1-year supervisory capacity.

Strong technical knowledge of: Windows/Linux servers, networking (LAN/WAN), cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365), POS, PMS, Sage Accpac, PayGlobal payroll software.

Excellence problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Job Desctiption:

• Oversee and coordinate all vessel maintenance activities to ensure safety, compliance, and operational readiness.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs for fleet vessels, including routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
• 3. Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• 4. Supervise maintenance teams, including technicians and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with vessel crews, technical staff, and external service providers for timely maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor vessel performance and diagnose technical issues to prevent breakdowns and optimize efficiency.
• Implement and oversee safety protocols related to maintenance work to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure maintenance quality and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, costs, and vessel condition for senior management.
• Plan for vessel upgrades, modifications, and dry-dockings as needed.
• Ensure proper inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Promote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.

 

Selection Criteria:

- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
- Extensive experience (usually 5+ years) in vessel maintenance, marine engineering, or ship management.
- Proven track record in managing maintenance operations on commercial vessels, offshore platforms, or naval ships.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
- Strong knowledge of marine systems and familiarity with maintenance management software.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Specific technical certifications related to ship systems or maintenance
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
