Assistant in Nursing (AIN) – Home Care
HIS Healthcare Improvement and Services (HIS) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to provide home-based care for an elderly patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Essential Requirements
* Able to communicate effectively in English (and French if possible).
* Passionate about caring for elderly people.
* Honest, reliable, and respectful.
* Willing to learn and work to an international standard of care.
* Not afraid of challenges and able to work independently while following instructions.
* Able to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.

Essential
* Good spoken and written English.
* Compassionate, patient, and respectful when caring for elderly people.
* Honest, reliable, and punctual.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
* Willing to learn and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
* Physically fit and able to assist with mobility and personal care.
* Able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
* Comfortable working independently in a home environment.
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills for completing care records.
Desirable
* Previous experience caring for an elderly person, family member, or person with a disability.
* First Aid or healthcare training (not essential).
* Valid driver's licence (advantage but not essential).
* Resides In Port-Vila
* Willing to attend ongoing training and competency assessments.
